About
the313co: a youth-led Detroit-based nonprofit group focused on giving back to Greater Detroit.
the313co is a youth-led nonprofit founded and led by Thomas Yu based in Detroit, Michigan. We seek to transform and uplift the local community through the re-purposement of used apparel
We operate two programs: 313soles and 313threads. Threads collects and repurposes used clothing, turning discarded fabrics into and functional items. Soles focuses on giving old shoes new life, providing footwear to those in need while reducing environmental waste. Together, these initiatives embody our commitment to giving back to the community of Greater Detroit. Join us in making a meaningful impact.
